In close vicinity is the Marekele National Park where leopards and other endangered species can be seen. More than 75 animal species are to be found in the Welgevonden game reserve. Zebras, klipspringers, kudu, eland, giraffes and warthog also form part of this area while you may even be lucky enough to spot some of the wild dogs. Open vehicle game drives or guided bushwalks under the leadership of qualified and experienced game rangers are offered to the guests who make use of the Mhondoro safari accommodation.
