When on a bush walk no one knows what you may get to encounter or experience. Bush walks are about getting yourself in tune with nature and the surroundings. Its not always about the big things, but also about the small signs left behind by nature.

Now that its summer we get to see large Corn Crickets moving around at night, whilst they take cover and remain burrowed in their holes during the day. In the picture below you can see the exoskeleton of a corn cricket and a dung beetle on top of elephant dung. This was regurgitated by a Black Back Jackal as he would have been unable to digest the hard skeleton. Who would have guessed?!
