Named after the Dutch owners of Mhondoro, Myriam and Frank Vogel, the MF Foundation is based in the Netherlands. It sets out to contribute to a better world with initiatives ranging from giving aid to people who are mentally and/or physically challenged, to financial support to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Its goal is to offer help where it is needed, be it the natural environment or an individual. During the Covid-19 crisis in South Africa the MF Foundation is providing financial support, food and basic essentials to the families of Mhondoro staff members who have lost income due to salary cuts. The MF Foundation also provides assistance to local community members in need who have been retrenched due to the pandemic.
