Just when you think you’ve seen it all, a cheetah comes along and stalks a waterbuck while you are sitting down for breakfast. The cheetah then catches the unsuspecting buck, right in-front of the photographic hide, midway through your world-class Eggs Benedict and sun-dried tomato breakfast delight…
Witnessing this extraordinary drama unfold from the deck of the lodge is an amazing sighting by itself, however then to walk down our tunnel and into the hide for a really close-up view, is a once-in-a- lifetime experience!
Please enjoy the video of the warthogs and other waterbuck staring at the cheetah while feeding. The warthogs kept on running around rather excitingly a mere few metres way from the cheetah, while they were filling their bellies. The three beautiful cheetah spent the whole day in-front of the hide and allowed our guests unobstructed viewing for hours.
